1935. USA 1935, March 9, First Flight Over Wake Island (AAMC 1228). Addressed cover signed by the pilot, J.G. Johnson, with cachet at left and 6c AIR MAIL stamp tied by "U.S.S. Nitro Mar. 8, 1935 A.M. Enroute to Pearl Harbor" cancel, fresh and Very Fine, scarce, only 500 were carried, the pilot later became a Rear Admiral.
